What Happened

In live mode, sender email addresses must be listed in the account’s Allowed Senders. The client tried to create an envelope with a sender whose email is not on the list.

The response includes a detail property with more information about this error.

How to Fix

  • Check the Allowed Senders list in the Settings section of your Dashboard.
  • If the sender is not listed, contact support to have it added. Support will verify the email address with its owner before adding it.
  • This restriction only applies to live mode. In test mode, any sender email address can be used.
