The envelope’s status indicates its current stage, tracking its progress through the signing process. Possible envelope status are:

draftThe envelope is under construction.
processingThe envelope is being prepared and has not yet been sent.
in_progressThe envelope has been sent to recipients and is waiting for all participants to complete it (for example, sign).
completedAll recipients have completed the envelope.
failedAn internal error occurred.
canceledThe signing process was intentionally stopped before completion.
